Procedure to Get A new Voter Card in Arunachal Pradesh

Voting is the rights of every true citizen. Votes of a candidate decide the future of the nation. Many do not have voter ID card and many miss the chance of registering the name in voters list. 

Any person who is above 18 years of age has the right to vote and must include their name in the list. The government has made the process easy and simple by making the process of registration and modification of voter card online. Mode of registration
For registering online for anyone residing in Arunachal Pradesh you need to logon to As you enter the site you can find all the relevant information regarding the elections and polling stations.
You can even search whether your name is included in the list or not by providing all the accurate and prescribed information.
In the left side of the site you can find online registration option click it for moving to next step.

It will then take you the official site for registration through ECI portal where it will prompt you to logon with a username and password. If you are already a member of the site you can use the name and password else you must register with all the details required.
Then using that user name and password you can log in the site and download the Form 6 which is for new registration.
You can also check the status of the Voter ID card after applying with the help of application id.
Once you fill the form take the printout and post it to the nearest electoral office.
The office members will register it and send a acknowledgment receipt. Keep it safely.
After the details are received the Booth level officer from your nearest electoral office will visit your place for verification and then if all the details entered are correct you will receive the voter ID in a month duration.
Important criteria
Anyone who is above 18 years is allowed to register for voter ID card.
Without Voter ID card they have no rights to vote.
The age proof documents such as birth certificate, transfer certificate from school all must be proper and clear.
The person must have a permanent address in Arunachal Pradesh to register to vote in the corresponding state.
A person cannot register twice so if he or she has already registered then it should be removed from that list and then new registration should be done.
Any one shifting their house from one province to another should update the address and it can also be done in online easily.
Anyone who has committed any sort or crime or if a case is registered on their behalf then they cannot vote and cannot get the Voter ID card.
